The career fair is an opportunity for successful businesses throughout the state to meet the new and upcoming talent. The students put on a fashion show for the salons where their theme and vision is produced on their models. We saw so many great ideas and met so many inspired future professionals. Kelsi, Nolynn and Breanne are all graduates of Gary Manuel Aveda Institute so it was a great opportunity for them to return. Since they have all been in the industry for a few years now, it was great to offer advice and recommendations to the students. Below are some pictures from the fashion show.

The fall line is called Jewels of the Earth. AVEDA has taken minerals to a whole new level. They are rich burnished shades with a pearlized finish. And since jewel tones are the rage this fall, they come in perfect time.

Most AVEDA make-up needs to be layered in order for the color to really pop but what we have found with this make-up is that it pops all on its own (even without our little friend, the activator). They purples and greens are spectacular and the neutral tones add that extra special touch that makes every eye look amazing.
